Why I Started The Hart of Tech
Technology should make life easier and more connected, not leave people behind.
I'm Nicole Hart. I founded The Hart of Tech after watching modern technology advance at breakneck speed while leaving behind the very people who built the world around us.
In recent years, our essential daily routines, from doctor appointments and banking to grocery deliveries and staying connected with family, have migrated almost entirely behind digital screens. Too often, I witnessed capable older adults feel frustrated, isolated, or dismissed by tech support that is rushed, condescending, or laden with confusing jargon. Well-meaning family members often want to help, but rarely have the time or an educator's patience to teach.
My approach is entirely different: unrushed, respectful, and grounded in how people actually learn.
